Sustainability & Ethics at Maison Bon Voyage
At Maison Bon Voyage, we don’t claim to have all the answers. What we create, how we create it, and who we create it with truly matters to us. We are a small, independent house working with awareness and respect for every step of the process. Sustainability and ethics are not slogans here. They are the foundation on which each collection begins.
We choose natural materials
Every Maison Bon Voyage garment begins with the fabric. We work exclusively with natural materials and often choose organic alternatives such as certified organic cotton over conventional options. These fabrics demand more care and carry higher costs, but they align with our principles. They wear beautifully, age gracefully, and feel truer to the world they come from.
We work with trusted manufacturers
Before entering production, we take time to understand where and how each piece will be made. We meet our partners over detailed video calls to ensure that every workshop is safe, ethical, and respectful to those who bring our designs to life.
Each of our manufacturing partners is RoHS and ISO 1833 certified, adhering to international standards of material integrity, safety, and traceability.
Their quality control processes include both full and random inspections, ensuring each garment meets the standard Maison Bon Voyage stands for.
We make pieces meant to endure
Our garments are not designed for a season. They are crafted to be kept, lived in, and remembered. Every collection is an exploration of meaning rather than trend, creating clothing that carries emotion, memory, and time.
We evolve with intention
Maison Bon Voyage is not fully sustainable, and we do not claim to be. What we are is conscious. Each collection moves us closer to better practices, guided by transparency and continuous learning. Progress for us is built through thoughtful decisions, not declarations.
